Defining qualities of a faithful Employer

A faithful employer is one who enters into a proper agreement with benefits for an employee.

This happens in a voluntary exchange of labor for wages. Employees have the right to choose their employer and negotiate their terms of employment, and they are protected by labor laws that prohibit discrimination and ensure fair treatment. The agreement should not contain any bond.

Being faithful builds trust between an employer and their employees. Trust is a vital element of any successful relationship.

Employees who are on temporary contracts often suffer from a trust deficit which undermines the faith they have in their employer. It is prudent to have a workforce with permanent and full-time employment.

A faithful employer also encourages loyalty and rewards the employee for being loyal by paying a loyalty bonus and also gratuity. It is a token of appreciation for the loyal services rendered by the employee over the course of many years. In India, it takes 5 years to become eligible for gratuity.
